Hi I'm Chris Huggett, also known in the Event and Announcing World as Chicken. Thanks for checking out my page!Highlights
My announcing career started in the late 90’s and I've been honing my skills with every event I've been a part of since then. I have co-announced the Saturday Night Extravaganza at the Washington State Horse Expo since 2012 and I have been the Voice of the Clark County Fair since 2010.
As the Voice of the Fair, I pre-record and produce the hourly welcome announcements which play around the grounds for all 10 days of the fair. In addition to live announcements, I announce the annual Parade on both Fridays of Fair. As the Voice of the Fair, I open every Grandstand show for each of the 10 days, welcoming attendees, introducing the Fair Court & Fair Board members, as well as introducing all national acts that perform on the Grandstand Stage. I have introduced dozens of national acts including Sara Evans, KC & The Sunshine Band, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and many more.
Since 2017, during the last 5 days of the Fair, I have announced all of the Motorsports events (10 shows in 5 days) for WGAS Motorsports. In addition, I have announced Motorsports events at other fairs, including the Puyallup Spring & Fall Fairs, the Josephine County Fair, and the Oregon State Fair, as well as a number of stand alone shows in various locations around the Northwest. I specialize in announcing Demolition Derbies, Tuff Truck Competitions, Monster Truck Shows & Truck & Tractor Pulls but I will give it my all for any new event!
I pride myself in bringing high energy to every event that I announce and I am a master at getting the crowd involved and pumped up!
I am ready for your next event or show! Let my wide range of experience work to your advantage! Email Chicken Coop Productions to see how I can make your event even better than it already is!
Since 2015 I have served as an Emcee for numerous banquets, fundraisers, conventions & black tie events, including the NW Showman’s Club annual ball, The Oregon State Fairs Association annual convention and I am the annual Emcee for the Washington State Fairs Association convention each year.
In addition, I have been Ordained and performing wedding ceremonies for over 8 years. I am licensed in all 50 states and am non denominational. I am also less expensive than most Justices of the Peace. We can work together to come up with your dream ceremony, or I can draw from my years of experience and offer samples of other ceremonies I've officiated. Please email me and let's talk Wedding!!
There is no event too big or too small and I will treat your function as if it were the biggest event of my career! Please email me for more information.
I have a degree in Broadcast Journalism and I worked full time in the radio industry for many years. During my time in radio, I voiced hundreds, if not thousands of commercials for a multitude of clients. I voice all commercials for the Clark County Event Center, the Washington State Horse Expo and the Clark County Fair. I currently have commercials running on an online radio station out of Portland, Oregon. From a basic Call to Action commercial, to a full blown media campaign, I have the voice you’re looking for, and am open to collaborating on script writing. I can fully produce your ad and email you a finished product.
Please listen to a few samples of my work below and email me today to talk about your next great commercial!
